I want to approve people before they can purchase tickets for my event. Is that possible?

Of course, it is possible.

Go to Website builder > Navigation. Disable the Buy Tickets page, and Save.

This will make sure users can purchase tickets only when they log in to their dashboard.

Now, go to Settings in the top right corner, choose No for ‘New user registrations are approved automatically’ setting, and Save.

This will make sure users can log in to their dashboard only when you approve them. The login credentials are sent to them on registration but they cant log in unless and until you approve them.

What are Power Ups in Dryfta platform?

Power Ups are event-specific tools & 3rd party integration. Enable Power Ups only when necessary. It keeps your dashboard clutter-free! If a tool is disabled from Power Ups, it is disabled from everywhere on the platform. Power Ups is the centralized control panel for all the tools. When a tool is enabled from Power Ups, it will either display on the second line of menu items or on the sidebar. Each tool has its own settings.

Why Dryfta asks for my event title, date and venue?

Everything on Dryfta is about event. So to use it, one has to add the very core of the event i.e. event name, date and venue. Based on that, Dryfta processes every other systems including ticketing, program schedule and other apps. It is mandatory to add these details.

Dryfta does not need ticketing details when you’re only using the platform for abstract submissions and peer reviews. But you still have to add the event details to make the website display Your event’s name and date, and not the default ones.
