Speaker
registration form is a custom form we built for your demo site using
the Form builder tool inside Dryfta dashboard. You can disable it. It
was suppose to allow speakers to register themselves from the website.
You can have multiple registration forms for attendees with different
roles viz. speakers, moderators, general attendees, volunteers etc.
To upload contacts with roles other than the default contact role, or the attendee, reviewer and administrator, please do the following:
Go to Import Contacts > Update Contacts tab
Download the sample file and open it in your spreadsheet
In the file, locate the “Assign new role” column
Enter the ID of the role you wish to assign to the contacts in the file (you can only assign one role to contacts in a single import)
Save file in CSV format and re-import it into the system by going to Import Contacts > Update Contacts tab
If you upload a contact with an email address that is already in the system using the Import Contacts tab, it would be ignored by the system.
If you upload a contact with an email address that is already in the system using the Update Contacts tab, it would be updated by the system. Duplicates are not created in any case.
Step 1: Configure your CRM as Identity Provider (IdP)
In your CRM, you will need to enter the following information to configure your IdP. (Replace ‘yourevent‘ with your event domain eg. tedx2020)
SP-EntityID / Issuer | https://yourevent.dryfta.com/plugins/authentication/ |
ACS (Assertion Consumer Service) URL / Single Sign-On URL (SSO) | https://yourevent.dryfta.com/?morequest=acs |
Single Logout URL (SLO) | https://yourevent.dryfta.com/index.php?option=com_users&task=logout |
Audience URI | https://yourevent.dryfta.com/plugins/authentication/miniorangesaml/ |
NameID Format | urn:oasis:names:tc:SAML:1.1: |
Default Relay State (Optional) | https://yourevent.dryfta.com/ |
Alternatively, you can access these information from the Metadata URL: https://yourevent.dryfta.com/?morequest=metadata
Step 2: Configure Dryfta as Service Provider (SP)
To setup Dryfta as the Service Provider, you need to email support desk (support@dryfta.com) with following information:
Single Sign-On Service URL | The SSO URL that you have noted from your CRM. |
IdP Entity ID or Issuer: | The Entity ID that you have noted from your CRM. |
X.509 Certificate: | Download this certificate from your CRM and send along with the email. |
Step 3: Attribute Mapping (Optional)
Attribute | Name Identifier |
---|---|
Fist Name | FName |
Last Name | LName |
Note: Email address is used as the unique identifier in Dryfta.
Step 4: Enable SSO from under Contact Settings
The SAML Tracer is an add-on in the Chrome/Firefox browser. Install it and open it when you perform SSO for the user from your browser. It will trace all the logs. When you get the error, export the logs from the SAML Tracer. Choose ‘none’ as value while exporting the logs from SAML Tracer and send the files.
Attributes mapping incorrectly? Let us know and we will run an automated configuration test for your SSO integration and see if the attributes names need to be updated based on what is being sent from the Identity Provider (IdP).
Redirects to 500 Internal Server Error page after logging in with your IdP credentials? Please ensure Email Address is set as the NameID at the Identity Provider (IdP).
In Contacts page, there’s a Delete button in the top right corner. Select contacts to be deleted and then click on that button. See screenshot below.
Go to Form Builder > Speaker Registration Form (If you do not see this form under Form builder, it must not have been created in your platform. See this tutorial for creating Speaker registration form) and click on Add New Field to create a field eg. Speaker Bio, to display speaker’s bio in the public profile.
Make sure to select “Display this field in public profile” option so as to display this field in the speaker’s public profile.
Go to Contacts and click on Speakers tab. Click on the name of the Speaker whose profile you want to update.
Enter the information under the newly created Bio field and click on Save. The speaker’s public profile should now include the bio. Go to another speaker’s profile to add information under his/her Bio field.
